Flexget daemon ignoring schedules block

if I run flexget manually it runs through the config and checks rss feeds but when I "leave" it to the schedule plugin it just sits there..

flexget is running with command:

/usr/local/bin/flexget --loglevel info daemon start

Any ideas what I might be missing?

I did reload the config etc. already..
